Delhi, Butter Chicken & Gordon Ramsay

I hosted Gordon Ramsay in Delhi during Gordon’s Great Escape, as he explored Indian food beyond the curry-house version most people outside India know. That meant taking him to Moti Mahal, where butter chicken was born.

Watching Gordon in that kitchen was genuinely fun. He came in curious, asked questions, rolled up his sleeves, and stepped into a completely unfamiliar food world with far less ego than you might expect. There’s something lovely about watching familiar food seen with completely fresh eyes.

In Good Taste

There is no shortage of food advice these days.

One day carbs are the enemy. The next day it's fruit. Then it's seed oils. Then it's protein. If you listen to everyone, you'll be left wondering what you can actually eat.

That is why In Good Taste came about.

Food has been a large part of my life for many years — through television, writing, research, and countless conversations about what we eat and why.

Alongside my friend and nutrition expert Sarika Bansal, I wanted to create a space for sensible conversations about food, health, ingredients, labels, habits, and the questions many of us have every day.

As someone who has spent years in food journalism and public health research, and especially after my MPH, it’s clear that food is medicine. Never before have we been exposed to more choices and never before has food and our lifestyle impacted our health.

The podcast aims to simplify the jargon and share takeaways.

No crash diets. No dramatic wellness claims. Just practical conversations, science that makes sense, and food that still tastes like food.
